Salary: $52.84 /hourly

Candidates with previous experience working at Microsoft Corporation, either as a full-time employee (FTE) or contractor, are strongly preferred.

Summary:

The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to design, develop, and maintain dashboards using Power BI and Kusto queries. The role requires an analytical mindset to interpret data and deliver insights that support informed business decision-making.

Key projects:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
Write efficient Kusto queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large sets of data.
Design and develop interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards that effectively communicate analytical findings.
Ensure dashboards are intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible to users with varying levels of data literacy.
Continuously monitor and refine dashboards to maintain accuracy, relevance, and alignment with business objectives.
Analyze data trends and patterns to provide insights and recommendations that drive business performance improvements.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality of output.


Candidate Requirements
Years of Experience Required: 8-10 overall years of experience in the field.
Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field such as computer science, data analytics, statistics, or a related field is required to be eligible for this role.

Disqualifiers:
Inability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Unable to Analyze data and find discrepancies and document insights.
Lack of strong program management skills.
No experience working with leadership and stakeholders.
Poor communication skills, both verbal and written.
Inability to work with advance software tools like Word, PowerBI, ADO, KUSTO.
Use of incorrect grammar or unprofessional communication.

3-5 years of experience in data analysis and dashboard development.
Proficiency in writing Kusto queries and working with databases.
Advanced skills in Power BI or similar data visualization tools for designing and developing dashboards.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to relate analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
