Job Summary:

Pets Best seeks a dynamic, results-oriented individual for the role of Marketing Account Executive. This dual-role involves fostering strong client relationships and developing marketing strategies for pet insurance distribution. It offers a unique opportunity to combine relationship management with marketing expertise to drive sales growth, market penetration, and retention across partner channels.

Job Location: Remote USA

Main Responsibilities:

Relationship Management (50%)

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and growth.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to understand client needs and offer tailored insurance solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  • Monitor client feedback to improve service delivery.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with partners.

Marketing (50%)

  • Implement scalable marketing campaigns to support sales strategies and partner engagement.
  • Design marketing strategies to promote pet insurance and enhance brand awareness.
  • Manage campaign setup, tracking, and legal/compliance approvals.
  • Coordinate marketing content for digital and print campaigns.
  • Support client-facing events and webinars.
  • Work with marketing teams to optimize digital campaigns and track performance.
  • Manage marketing budgets and resources.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years’ experience in account management, sales, marketing, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B2C marketing, insurance distribution, or marketing agencies.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Digital marketing experience.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools.
  • Creative and innovative business approaches.
  • Strong consultative sales skills.
