Job summary

FINRA in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Analyst in Market Operations to monitor trading facilities and respond to inquiries from member firms, SROs, and vendors. You will document activities, prepare leadership summaries, and collaborate with senior staff on complex issues.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in finance/economics/business and at least 3 years in securities or regulatory environments, with hybrid work options and extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business is preferred and 3+ years of experience in securities/financial services or regulatory environments.
• Analytical and critical thinking with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reports for leadership.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitors intra-day trading across FINRA trade reporting facilities and resolves routine matters.
• Delivers strong customer service to member firms, SROs, and vendors.
• Maintains databases supporting the marketplace and documents review activities.
• Presents clear summaries to senior leadership to support informed decisions and timely resolutions.
• May assist junior analysts and collaborate with senior staff on complex issues.
• Applies regulatory knowledge to support FINRA's mission of market integrity and investor protection.
