Job summary

Protective Life is seeking a Senior Competitive Intelligence Analyst to provide an unbiased view of the competitive landscape for annuities and retirement products. The role collaborates within the Competitive Intelligence team to translate research into insights, battlecards, and dashboards for stakeholders.

The position will be titled Sr Associate Market Research internally and requires strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and familiarity with AI tools to enhance analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in annuity or market research.
• Experience with AI tools and their limitations.
• Strong written communication and presentation skills with influence.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal consultant on competitive landscape for annuities.
• Develop research programs focused on product specs, rates, and services.
• Build and disseminate insights; create battlecards and comparisons.
• Produce persuasive reports and data dashboards for stakeholders.
• Conduct win-loss evaluations and respond to ad-hoc requests.
• Collaborate with Market Research Team on reciprocal projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
