Job summary

HDR is actively seeking a Market Data Strategy & Analytics Lead to guide data collection, modeling, and business intelligence efforts across U.S. regions.

You will translate leadership needs into actionable insights, mentor analysts, and drive data-driven growth initiatives in a complex A/E market. Role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, governance of data platforms, and development of dashboards for executives and regional leaders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics or related field.
• 15 years of experience in data science, analytics, machine learning, or predictive modeling, with preference to A/E industry.
• 5 years of experience leading data analytics teams.
• Demonstrated success implementing ML/AI solutions that generate measurable business value.
• Successful development of effective business intelligence dashboards aligned with growth goals.
• Experience with data service and warehousing platforms such as AlphaSense, Dodge Analytics, Global Data, CB Insights, S&P, Snowflake, and API integrations.
• Deep knowledge of the A/E industry’s approach to procurement of professional services.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-business collaboration efforts.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine a market research strategy in partnership with key stakeholders to identify expansion opportunities.
• Direct and manage research projects and tools for client and competitor intelligence and growth indicators.
• Consider, deploy and govern predictive models and ML algorithms to identify trends and opportunities.
• Synthesize and align information from multiple sources to inform business decisions.
• Select and manage research platform accounts for data accuracy and ROI.
• Develop, direct and manage BI dashboards for Market Sector, Region, Area, and Executives.
• Support pursuit, campaign strategy, client service and competitive positioning.
