Job summary

BIP US is seeking an experienced Market Data Engineer with 7+ years of Java development to join as a full-time consultant. The role centers on migrating market data integration from Refinitiv LSEG RFA to RTSDK for a Futures Algorithmic Trading platform.

You will map data fields, implement changes, ensure backward compatibility, and work with client teams to deliver a phased, production-ready transition with strong regression coverage.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Java software development for enterprise or trading apps.
• Experience with Futures/Options market data from Refinitiv/LSEG.
• Ability to migrate from RFA to RTSDK with backward compatibility.
• Strong knowledge of real-time data processing and trading workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and compare market data fields in RFA vs RTSDK.
• Map RFA functionality to RTSDK equivalents in the application.
• Design and implement Java updates to support RTSDK.
• Develop phased migration strategies preserving backward compatibility.
• Create comprehensive testing strategies including regression tests.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and trading stakeholders.
