Job summary

Business Integration Partners (BIP) seeks a hands-on Senior Reference Data Tech Lead with 8+ years of software engineering to design, architect, and enhance enterprise reference data platforms supporting investment-management workflows.

This IC role focuses on security master and organization static data across financial instruments, driving architecture, data pipelines, and engineering standards while remaining hands-on.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in enterprise data platforms.
• Experience architecting and building reference data systems (security master and org static data).
• Proficient in C#/.NET and Python with production services delivery.
• Deep in microservices, messaging, API gateways, caching, and distributed integration.
• Strong data modeling, governance, and pipeline design for reference data.
• Experience with relational plus graph/object databases; Azure cloud focus.
• Familiarity with securities domain and credit instruments; AI-first tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise reference data systems architecture as an IC.
• Define service boundaries, caching, data flows, and integration patterns.
• Build server-side services in C#/.NET and Python and scalable components.
• Create data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, augmentation, and governance.
• Model reference data structures for securities and master-data domains.
• Collaborate with analysts, PMs, and users to translate requirements into solutions.
• Apply AI-first tools to accelerate delivery and data-quality improvements.
• Set engineering standards and remain hands-on across distributed teams.
• Provide production support for reference data platforms and resolve issues.
