Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU) seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Maritime Systems & Integration (MS&I) E&S organization and serve as Charlottesville, VA site lead. You will oversee hardware & software development, production support, and shipboard integration for Navy and USCG fleets.

This role requires exceptional leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and strong communication skills to align programs with strategic imperatives across distributed teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, or Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years in STEM.
• U.S. Citizen with an active Government Secret Clearance.
• 3 years of professional defense or aerospace experience.
• 2 years leading technical teams.
• 2 years in a technical role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the program(s) technical roadmap strategy.
• Staff appropriately and enable resource sharing across multiple business areas.
• Lead actions to improve engineering practices.
• Drive engineering strategy and talent investments for MS&I E&S.
• Drive talent development and workforce planning.
• Elevate engineering rigor and predictability of results.
• Prioritize investments aligned with strategic imperatives.
