Job summary

Anduril Industries’ Maritime Division seeks a hands-on electrical engineer to own the power distribution bus architecture and energy management for a maritime autonomous vehicle. Reporting to the Vehicle Systems Lead, you will design power paths from storage to subsystems and define interfaces across teams to ensure reliable operation. The role requires 5+ years in power distribution or electronics, a B.S.

in EE or related field, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in power distribution, power electronics, or electrical system design.
  • Experience with power bus architecture and protection design.
  • Familiarity with power budget management and load analysis.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Own power distribution bus architecture and design.
  • Design power switching, protection, and fault isolation circuits.
  • Manage vehicle energy budget and power allocation.
  • Define power interfaces between energy storage and all consuming subsystems.
  • Perform power system modeling and simulation.
  • Support EMI/EMC design and qualification.
  • Interface with energy storage, regulation, and vehicle systems teams.
  • Support prototype integration and testing.
  • Travel up to 25% to test sites.
