Job summary

Anduril Industries' Maritime Division is seeking a senior electrical engineer to own the power distribution bus architecture and energy management for a maritime autonomous vehicle. You will design power switching circuits, define interfaces between energy storage and subsystems, and drive modeling, testing, and EMI/EMC qualification.

You will lead cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and vehicle systems, travel up to 25% for tests, and help ensure robust power designs that enable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in power distribution, power electronics, or electrical system design
• Experience with power bus architecture and protection design
• Familiarity with power budget management and load analysis
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Own power distribution bus architecture and design
• Design power switching, protection, and fault isolation circuits
• Manage vehicle energy budget and power allocation
• Define power interfaces between energy storage and all consuming subsystems
• Perform power system modeling and simulation
• Support EMI/EMC design and qualification
• Interface with energy storage, regulation, and vehicle systems teams
• Support prototype integration and testing
• Travel up to 25% to test sites
