Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation (UIC) Bowhead Transport LLC is seeking a Marine Transportation Project Manager to lead marine operations, coordinate vessel movements, cargo handling, and ports. The role requires directing multiple projects with a focus on safety, quality, and timely execution in Alaska's demanding environment.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communications while ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in marine transportation, operations, logistics, or project management.
• Experience leading multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of vessel scheduling, cargo movement, port operations, and project coordination.
• Ability to communicate with customers, crews, management, vendors, and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to marine operations and project personnel.
• Oversee and coordinate marine transportation projects, including vessel movements, cargo operations, and port activities.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and serve as primary contact for assigned projects and daily operations.
• Maintain regular customer communication to ensure expectations and schedules are met.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, voyage plans, and logistics timelines.
• Review budgets, costs, and financial performance; report to General Manager.
• Prepare project documentation and assist with invoicing accuracy.
