Job summary

Safe Harbor Marinas is seeking a Senior Technician to inspect, maintain and repair boats, leveraging diagnostic equipment across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and vessel systems. You will train teammates and contribute to a safe, efficient service environment.

Ideal candidates have extensive gas and diesel engine experience, own tools, and flexibility for overtime to meet deadlines. High school diploma and marine tech training are preferred, ABYC Master Technician encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Marine Technical school training preferred.
• 10+ years experience preferred.
• ABYC Master Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Service Manager to provide accurate work orders.
• Conduct thorough assessments prior to starting a job, including budgeted time and scope.
• Expert knowledge of marine systems including electrical, plumbing and water systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install vessel systems and components (gas and diesel engines).
• Mentor technicians and support teammates.
• Overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
