Job summary

Safe Harbor Marinas in Tavernier, FL seeks a seasoned Marine Technician to inspect, maintain and repair boats–engines, hulls, rigging, and navigational gear–using diagnostic tools and a full set of marine systems knowledge.

You will install and test sanitation and refrigeration systems, electrical networks, and accessories, while ensuring safety and quality, with opportunities for ABYC training and a comprehensive benefits package in a fast-growing marina network.

Qualifications

• ABYC and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• 5 years' experience preferred.
• Must possess own tools.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair boats of all kinds.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to test and repair boat engines, hulls, propellers, rigging, masts, sails, and navigational equipment.
• Install and test sanitation and refrigeration systems, cabinetry, electrical systems, steering gear, and accessories.
• Troubleshoot, test, repair, replace, remove and install vessel systems and components.
• Overall knowledge of marine systems including electrical, plumbing & water systems.
