Job summary

Safe Harbor Marinas in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Senior Marine Technician to inspect, maintain and repair boats, using diagnostics to service engines, hulls, propellers, rigging and navigational gear. You will mentor teammates and ensure safe, high‑quality work with proper tool use.

The role requires extensive knowledge of electrical, plumbing and water systems on vessels, with emphasis on gas and diesel engines, and a willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ABYC Master Technician certification preferred.
• Experience with marine electrical, plumbing and water systems.

Responsibilities

• Work with Service Manager to produce accurate, detailed work orders.
• Assess jobs, budget time, source parts, and schedule completion.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install marine electrical, plumbing and water systems.
• Diagnose and repair gas and diesel engines on vessels.
• Assign parts and purchases to vessels and tickets.
• Provide mentorship to apprentice technicians and peers.
• Overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
