Job summary

Safe Harbor Marinas, LLC, the world's largest marina operator, seeks a skilled marine technician to inspect, maintain, and repair boats of all kinds. You will use diagnostic gear to service engines, hulls, wiring, and navigational systems, and perform installations on sanitation, refrigeration, electrical, and related components.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 5 years' experience preferred, ABYC or manufacturer certifications preferred, and own tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical school training preferred.
• ABYC certification or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• 5 years' experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must carry own tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair boats of all kinds.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to test and repair boat engines, hulls, propellers, rigging, masts, sails, and navigational equipment.
• Install and test sanitation and refrigeration systems, cabinetry, electrical systems, steering gear, and accessories.
• Troubleshoot, test, repair, replace, remove and install vessel systems and components.
• Assign parts and purchases to the appropriate vessels/tickets.
• Must possess own tools.
• Availability to work overtime in order to meet deadlines.
