Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Senior Marine – Mechanical Engineer to oversee all mechanical systems design and vessel integration. You will manage full 2-D/3-D CAD work, BOM creation, and collaborate with Hull Engineers in a matrix environment.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, and extensive knowledge of ABS/MCA regulations. Travel domestically and internationally may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical and/or Marine Engineering required; MS preferred or 10 years experience.
• Experience in project management and team leadership.
• Experience with motor yachts 75–150 ft, shipyard new construction/refit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical/piping/HVAC/machinery discipline work within Engineering.
• Coordinate with other disciplines in a matrix environment.
• Review and approve CAD outputs and BOMs; manage deliverables.
• Manage subcontractors/suppliers for custom equipment; influence Make/Buy decisions.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Lead and evaluate 6–8 direct reports within this discipline.
