Brunswick Boat Group is seeking an experienced engineer to lead advanced design and development of fiberglass, mechanical, electrical, and structural systems for boats. You will create 3D surface models for decks, liners, and parts, and oversee design development using CAE tools.

You will validate concepts, produce 2D drawings, and mentor teams while coordinating with suppliers for new integrations. Travel around 10% is required, and a strong background in marine product design is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in mechanical/naval/marine engineering or related discipline.
• 3-5+ years experience in marine product design with knowledge of manufacturing/production processes.
• Experience with Siemens NX; proficient in 3-D solid and surface modelling.
• Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead engineering teams.
• Boating experience desired; ability to travel 10% or more.

Responsabilidades

• Generate 3D surface models of decks, liners, and small parts for 5-axis milling and tooling design.
• Lead design development and review engineering drawings and assembly prints.
• Develop complex mechanisms using 3D models and 2D drawings; specify components and sourcing.
• Validate designs to meet cost, performance, and functional requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers for new systems and continuous improvement.
