Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group Technology Center is seeking an engineer to drive advanced fiberglass, mechanical, electrical, laminate, and structural designs for boats. You will generate 3D surface models for decks and liners, lead design development, and validate systems to meet cost and performance targets.

The role requires 3–5+ years in marine design, strong CAD skills (NX preferred, plus SolidWorks/Catia/Creo/Pro-E), and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in mechanical/marine disciplines.
• 3–5+ years in marine product design with manufacturing exposure.
• CAD design experience with NX; familiarity with other CAD tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate 3D surface models of decks, liners, and parts for 5-axis milling and tooling.
• Lead design development and engineering of boat systems and components.
• Engineer mechanical, electrical, and structural aspects for new boat programs.
• Design mechanisms and hinges for supplier fabrication using 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and performance targets.
