Kimley-Horn's Baltimore County, MD office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join the Marine Structures team. Not a remote position, the role focuses on leading projects, producing complete structural drawings and specs, and mentoring engineers-in-training.

The candidate will perform design calculations, manage project plans, and support client meetings and presentations while pursuing growth in marine structural design.

Formación

• 6+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp for drawings and details when needed.
• Experience with structural analysis tools such as STAAD, RAM, ETABS, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage projects and teams.
• Develop full sets of structural drawings and technical specs.
• Train and mentor Engineers-In-Training in structural engineering.
• Perform design calculations and plan production, maintain Quality Control.
• Lead construction phase efforts on building projects.
