Job summary

Master Boat Builders, Inc. is seeking a 1st Class Structural Welder to contribute to the construction of marine vessels and structural components. Role focuses on high-quality welds and structural integrity. Overtime options are available, with built-in overtime and additional overtime for interested employees.

Full-time schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Friday 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Successful candidates must pass 3g vertical and 4g overhead weld tests and meet production standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of welding experience, preferably in shipbuilding or maritime construction.
• Must pass and certify on 3g vertical and 4g overhead positions.
• Ability to perform various welding functions with precision.

Responsibilities

• Welding functions including frame tacking, butt welding, and related tasks.
• Collaborate with welders, pipe fitters, and supervisors to meet timelines and quality.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
