Job summary

Master Boat Builders, Inc. is seeking a 1st Class Pipe Welder to join its shipbuilding team in Alabama. The role emphasizes weld integrity, safety, and productivity, with built-in overtime and a 6g test mandatory for success.

The position is full-time, Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–4:30 PM and Friday 6:00 AM–12:00 PM, with benefits including medical, dental, vision and a 401(k). Additional voluntary benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 3 years of pipe welder experience in shipbuilding or maritime construction.
• Must pass unrestricted 6G pipe welding test.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Welding tasks: Stick, Socket, Butt welding with high-quality results.
• Collaborate with welders, pipefitters and supervisors to complete tasks on time.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
