Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering required; master's preferred in ports/marine.
• 8+ years in detailed design of port/marine structures with detailed structural analysis and design across materials.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 1–2 years (California PE strongly preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead across multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Aufgaben

• Serve as Project Engineer, Package Coordinator, or Manager on engagements, overseeing teams, workstreams, budgets, client interactions, and governance.
• Apply engineering principles to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions in complex, multidisciplinary environments.
• Conduct marine structural engineering and design in line with standards, objectives, and client needs.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret engineering, planning, and operational data to support project objectives.
• Prepare and review drawings, RFIs, permit applications, technical specs, models, reports, memoranda, presentations, schedules, maps, figures, diagrams.
• Perform site visits, inspections, condition assessments, and construction support activities as required.
• Lead and contribute to proposals, interview materials, and other business development materials.
• Build client relationships, promote Hatch’s services, and identify new business opportunities.
• Support staff development, mentorship, and graduate training in port/marine competencies.
