Job summary

The role targets students pursuing urban/transportation planning or engineering, with a strong interest in freight transport. Travel to Hatch offices and sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing relevant degree in planning or engineering.
• GPA minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Interest in freight transportation planning and maritime infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Apply planning principles to port planning challenges in multidisciplinary projects.
• Conduct road, rail, and marine infrastructure planning per standards and client needs.
• Collect, review, and analyze planning data to meet project objectives.
• Prepare reports, memos, presentations, schedules, maps, diagrams, and models.
