Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Regulatory Compliance Engineer for the Marine Division to lead regulatory programs and ensure product certification compliance across Caterpillar’s marine line.

You will stay current on Marine Classification Society requirements, collaborate with product, design control and operations, and help identify process improvements while supporting data gathering and risk management activities. Onsite in Lafayette, IN with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and product certification processes.
• Strong analytical and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and stay current on Marine Classification Society regulatory requirements and how they apply to Caterpillar products.
• Follow and use established processes to collect, assess, and manage information for product certification and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and tools used to manage regulatory compliance risks.
• Collaborate with product groups, design control and operations to ensure compliant development and production of products.
