Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Regulatory Compliance Engineer to support Marine regulatory programs and ensure compliance with Marine Classifications Society requirements for the Marine Division. The role focuses on collecting, evaluating, and managing information to certify products while driving process improvements.

You will collaborate with product teams, design and operations to deliver compliant hardware and optimize regulatory workflows across the organization.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes.
• Knowledge of product development methods and ability to apply formal disciplines.
• Knowledge of risk management processes, tools and techniques.
• Ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
• Knowledge of various product engineering techniques.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply Marine Classifications Society requirements to Caterpillar products.
• Collect, assess, and manage information in support of product certification and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve regulatory processes and tools.
• Collaborate with product groups, design control and operations to ensure compliant production.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in an accredited Engineering, CS, or Materials Science curriculum.
