Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Engineer for our Marine division in Lafayette, Indiana.

The role focuses on identifying and developing improvements across the supply chain to enhance ROI and support the marine commercial team and dealers. Responsibilities include leading the development and analysis of data to prioritize opportunities, ensuring supply readiness for Territory Sales Managers and dealers, and coordinating Dealer S&OP and Demand & Supply meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in supply chain planning or manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, lead implementation of integrated supply chain solutions and performance improvements.
• Build alliances with business partners and internal functions.
• Lead data analysis to prioritize opportunities for cost-effective supply chains.
• Provide Assurance of Supply support for marine Territory Sales Managers and dealers.
• Lead Dealer S&OP meetings to align sales pipeline with factory availability.
• Host weekly Demand and Supply meetings to review priorities.
