Caterpillar is hiring a Technical Regulatory Compliance Advanced Technology Engineering Specialist at the Clayton Machine Development Center in Clayton, NC. This role supports regulatory compliance programs, collaborating with product, technology, and operations teams to ensure compliance across the product lifecycle.

The role requires strong analytical and technical skills, knowledge of regulatory requirements, and the ability to identify improvements in processes and tools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support product regulatory compliance programs by assisting with identification, assessment, management, and mitigation of compliance risks related to product technology, controls, and electronic component and system requirements.
• Stay current on applicable regulatory requirements and apply to Caterpillar products and platforms.
• Use processes and tools to collect, assess, document, and manage information supporting certification and ongoing regulatory compliance activities.
• Collaborate with product, technology, controls, electronic component and system teams to ensure regulatory compliance across the product lifecycle.
• Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities for processes, tools, and methods used to manage regulatory compliance risks.
• Support cross-functional communication by documenting findings, risks, and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
