The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 5+ years of direct project engineering experience in marine environments, and can coordinate cross-functional teams within a shipyard setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct Project Engineering experience in marine new construction projects.
• Minimum of 5 years of Engineering experience.
• Must be a U.S. National.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule engineering tasks among various disciplines for assigned projects.
• Initialize, organize, and monitor engineering projects.
• Develop and control project deadlines, IMS, budgets and technical activities.
• Oversee requirements analysis to ensure compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Provide field engineering services for timely resolution of engineering concerns at the production shipyard.
• Work closely with the Director of Project Engineering to integrate project activities and technical products.
• Provide technical support to business development, estimating and on-site support teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the project to customers, the Program Management Office, Production Planning, Purchasing, Outside Design Agents and Regulatory Authorities.
