Job summary

Oyster Harbors Marine in Osterville, MA seeks an organized, customer-focused Parts Department Supervisor to lead our parts operation. You will manage inventory, procurement, vendor relationships, and support the service team and retail customers, delivering a first-class experience aligned with our values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a marine/auto parts leadership role preferred.
• Knowledge of boats, engines, marine systems, and parts is strongly preferred.
• Experience with marine manufacturers and vendors is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient with inventory management systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily operations of the Parts Department.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through forecasting, ordering, and inventory management software.
• Manage parts receiving, storage, and distribution for service technicians and retail customers.
• Develop relationships with vendors and manufacturers to secure pricing, terms, and lead times.
• Provide parts support to the Service Department and for customer repairs.
• Lead retail parts sales efforts with excellent customer service at the counter and over the phone.
• Maintain organized, clean parts storage areas.
• Implement inventory control systems, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory.
• Assist with warranty parts returns and manufacturer claims.
• Train and supervise parts staff.
• Support goals for efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
