Qualifications

• Experience evaluating complex shipboard mechanical systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of maritime piping, HVAC, refrigeration and hydraulic systems.
• Audits industrial work against ABS rules and USCG regulations.

Responsibilities

• Shipyard oversight of modification, renewal and repair of main and auxiliary systems.
• Attend tests, sea trials and quality inspections to verify contract conformance.
• Map end-user requirements to engineering methodologies and ensure design criteria.
• Collaborate with on-site oversight personnel for system integration.
• Ensure modifications comply with project specs, ABS and USCG standards.
• Develop and present technical materials and project briefings.
