Job summary

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Marine Mechanic-Lead Technician in Imperial Beach, CA to serve as the primary POC for problem resolution and liaison with Government.

This role covers troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and material assessment of marine propulsion and power systems per OEM specs in CONUS & OCONUS locations. Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in marine propulsion and/or power generation operations, maintenance, repair or inspections.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of diagnostic equipment usage.
• Ability to lead and direct subordinates.
• Strong computer skills with Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to travel overseas when required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program requirements, subcontractors, and employees.
• Provide direction to subordinates and identify complex problems for efficient solutions.
• Troubleshoot equipment down to the component level and determine root causes.
• Work from schematics and plans to perform testing and troubleshooting.
• Perform lay-ups and start-ups on boats within storage programs.
• Prepare written reports documenting work performed and actions taken.
• Support maintenance and repair activities as required.
