Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in marine propulsion or power generation operations, maintenance, repair, or inspections.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree may substitute for 3 of 5 years of experience.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program requirements, subcontractors, and employees.
• Provide direction to subordinates and resolve complex problems.
• Troubleshoot to component level and diagnose equipment failures.
• Work from schematics and diagrams for testing and troubleshooting.
• Perform lay-ups and maintenance checks on boats in mid-level storage.
• Conduct start-ups and maintenance checks on boats in storage.
• Provide written reports of work performed and document actions.
