Job summary

Weeks Marine seeks a Senior Estimator for the Houston, TX office to compile data and estimate production costs per bid documents. Responsibilities include analyzing plans, visiting sites, preparing take-offs and budgets, and supporting construction means and methods with engineering analyses.

Required are 10+ years in heavy civil marine construction with est. experience and a Civil/Construction degree. The role includes liaising with owners and vendors to finalize bids and schedules.

Qualifications

• Fluent use of English language (verbal and written).
• 10+ years in Heavy Civil Marine Construction with at least 3 years in estimating preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology/Management required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plans and specifications.
• Perform site visit(s) and meet with owners/designers if required.
• Prepare take-offs and budgetary estimates.
• Establish means and methods of construction and perform engineering analyses.
