Job summary

Global Diving & Salvage, Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator to lead the technical and commercial development of competitive marine construction bids, typically up to $25 million, across public and private clients.

The role blends field insight with estimating rigor to craft winning proposals and support handoffs to operations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in estimating, strong knowledge of heavy civil/marine methods, and experience directing crews on projects.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of estimating experience.
• Seven+ years in field engineering and logistics.
• Marine construction experience preferred (dams, bridges, docks, wharves).
• Experience estimating public and private sector projects up to $20M.

Responsibilities

• Identify, track, and manage bids and proposal opportunities.
• Read, interpret bid documents, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Lead technical bids and proposals from strategy through submission.
• Prepare schedules and lead pursuit strategies for compliant submittals.
• Attend site visits and ensure smooth handoffs to operations.
• Develop process improvements to maintain competitiveness.
