Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in heavy civil marine construction with at least 3 years in estimating.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology/Management required.
• Proficient in standard computer software packages.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Fluent use of the English language (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Analyze plans and specifications.
• Perform site visit(s) and meetings with owners/designers as needed.
• Prepare take-offs and budget estimates.
• Establish means and methods of construction and perform engineering analyses.
• Prepare cost analyses for portions of projects.
• Solicit quotes from subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare construction schedule and cash-flow analyses.
• Close out bids and assist in preparing supporting documents.
• Occasionally visit projects to prepare cost analyses.
