Job summary

Manson Construction Co. is seeking a Senior Estimator to identify, develop, and pursue strategic bid opportunities across the GECC region from our Jacksonville, FL office.

You will lead estimates, proposals, and budgets for marine construction and heavy-civil projects, directing an estimating team of engineers and staff to deliver winning bids. The role requires extensive preconstruction experience, regional collaboration with operations and leadership, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Minimum of 15 years preconstruction/estimating and/or operations experience on marine or heavy civil projects.
• Minimum of 5 years leadership and team management experience.
• Knowledge of maritime construction environment and related methods is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional GECC pursuits and bid opportunities aligned with long-term growth.
• Manage estimating team and ensure accurate, timely estimates, proposals, and budgets.
• Analyze contract plans, specs, proposals and other docs to prepare time, cost and labor estimates.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams; attend pre-bid meetings and debriefs.
• Prepare project executive summaries and risk assessments to communicate scope to staff.
