American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) in Houston, TX seeks a Senior, Engineering Applications Engineer to lead development and support of engineering applications for internal and external clients within the Digital Class framework.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Technology, and IT teams to deliver innovative, compliant software-enabled solutions and drive continuous improvement in ABS engineering applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or CS required.
• 5+ years of engineering and/or software development experience.
• Experience in marine, shipyard, or offshore design environments preferred.

Responsabilités

• Identify opportunities to improve Engineering Applications.
• Lead or contribute to development and support teams.
• Deliver tasks on schedule and within budget.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Technology, IT and other departments.
• Maintain client and colleague relations and support users.
• Provide expert advice on technology, rules, and regulations.
• Collect user feedback and propose new features and solutions.
• Ensure ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements are fulfilled.
• Perform selected engineering analyses.
