Job summary

Offshore Aviation Group seeks a seasoned Chief Engineer to lead maintenance and safety aboard our 3,000 HP, 498 GT vessel, the OAG Responder. You will supervise engineering teams, ensure vessel systems reliability, and uphold MARPOL and environmental standards.

Key qualifications include STCW Chief Engineer Officer, Basic Training, Advanced Firefighting, USCG Medical (STCW), TWIC, and the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• MMC national officer endorsement for Chief Engineer- Limited.
• STCW Chief Engineer Officer at management level.
• Active USCG/STCW medical and firefighting qualifications.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and possess a valid TWIC.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance and repairs for all engineering systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Manage spare parts, consumables, and onboard inventories.
• Oversee fuel, lube, and waste handling, ensuring MARPOL and environmental compliance.
• Supervise Assistant Engineers
• Coordinate shipyard periods, vendor work, and maintain class/USCG records.
