Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications include STCW endorsements and a valid passport.
  • TWIC card and ability to travel internationally.
  • DDE 4000 or higher license or certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Watch standing and engine room repairs; perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
  • Maintain engine room inventory and manage parts, tools, and supplies.
  • General deck duties including line handling and adherence to safety directives.
  • Follow vessel security procedures and Crowley policies.

Skills

Engineering aboard towing vessel
Troubleshooting ships systems
Knowledge of electronic engines

Education

DDE 4000 or higher
OICEW
Valid STCW with all required endorsements (including but not limited to CPR/First Aid, Advanced Firefighting)
