Job summary

Tideman Marine, a division of United Plastic Fabricating, designs and manufactures HDPE boats in Ocala, Florida. We seek a skilled technician to perform mechanical and electrical installs in a fast-paced, small industrial setting, reading blueprints and wiring diagrams to ensure ABYC-compliant assembly.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 4 years in marine/RV/auto environments, plus drug screening and background checks. E-Verify is used.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 4 years in marine, RV, automotive or similar technical environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Drug screening and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrical installation, including panel wiring and system calibration.
• Install and connect boat systems (wiring, fuel, oil, control, exhaust, water) per specs.
• Fabricate and install custom components and align steering systems per OEM guidelines.
• Read blueprints and schematics, ensuring work meets ABYC standards in production.
