Job summary

Sportsman Boats is seeking Assembly Associates to join the finished assembly department, wiring, installing motors and cushions, capping, rigging, and finishing our 20-35 ft center console boats. This full-time position runs Monday - Thursday, 5:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.

Hours may vary to meet production goals. You will pull wires, install Yamaha outboards, Garmin systems, stereo components, and other hardware to spec, using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with air, hand and power tools required.
• Experience in boating, automotive, electrical, carpentry, or related fields preferred.
• Ability to climb in and out of boats, bend, and stand up to 8 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Pull wires and install equipment like Yamaha outboards and Garmin systems to specification.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble boats and components.
• Build T-tops and consoles, inspect parts for quality.
• Follow safety procedures and read manufacturing schedules.
• Maintain tools and area, work as part of a fast-paced team.
