Job summary

Tideman Marine, a division of United Plastic Fabricating, designs and manufactures HDPE boats in Ocala, Florida. We seek a skilled technician to perform mechanical and electrical installs in a fast-paced, small industrial setting, reading blueprints and wiring diagrams to ensure ABYC-compliant assembly.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 4 years in marine/RV/auto environments, plus drug screening and background checks. E-Verify is used.

Responsibilities

Tideman Marine, a division of United Plastic Fabricating, designs and manufactures high-density polyethylene (HDPE) boats for military and commercial marine use. Based in Ocala, Florida, USA, Tideman Marine operates a cutting-edge facility dedicated to designing and constructing welded HDPE boats and custom marine products.

We are seeking individuals with experience in the RV, mobile home or similar manufacturing environment to come join our team in a fast-paced, small industrial boat manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing mechanical and electrical installation work to ensure high-quality boat assembly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrical installation, including panel wiring, routing wire drops, buss bars, system troubleshooting, and gauge calibration
• Install and connect key boat systems, including wiring, fuel, oil, control, exhaust, and water systems in accordance with specifications
• Fabricate and install custom components (panels, brackets, mounting systems) and align steering systems per OEM guidelines
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics while ensuring all work meets ABYC standards and is completed efficiently in a production environment

Compensation:

$21-$25/hour based on experience and qualifications
