Job summary

Manson Construction is seeking a Superintendent to lead on-site activities in Anchorage, Alaska. The role requires extensive construction management experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate materials, subcontractors, personnel, and equipment to ensure safe, high-quality project completion.

The candidate should have at least 10 years of construction experience, hands-on field and supervisory background in marine/heavy civil work, and knowledge of surveying.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction experience.
• Recent experience as a construction superintendent in heavy civil or marine work.
• Hands-on field and supervisory experience in marine/concrete/heavy lifts.
• Knowledge of surveying and survey control.
• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
• First Aid/CPR Certification, preferred.
• OSHA Certification, preferred.
• Fall Protection Competent Person, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise foremen and coordinate field activities with engineering and crafts.
• Develop detailed on-site plans with project managers and crews.
• Track and manage project costs with the management team.
• Oversee equipment operation and safety compliance.
• Manage subcontractors to meet schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
• Maintain quality control standards and daily field reports.
• Uphold Code of Ethics and safety documentation compliance.
