Job summary

Stabbert Marine & Industrial is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead a multi-year pipeline of capital and facility improvement projects across Ballard and Anacortes. The role emphasizes project leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor coordination rather than daily hands-on labor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in construction or capital project management.
• Experience managing multiple projects on a multi-year horizon.
• Foreman, superintendent, or project manager leadership required.
• Shipyard or marine industry experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Project or Procore and spreadsheets.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between Ballard and Anacortes.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Scope, plan, and execute facility and capital projects at both locations.
• Develop budgets, cost estimates, and schedules; track variances.
• Identify, vet, and manage outside contractors and bids.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Serve as primary contact for project status and risk with leadership.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and permits.
• Provide hands-on carpentry and construction support when needed.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety on sites.
