Job summary

Enpro is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to own the manufacturing and test processes for sensor analyzers within the AMI division. You will develop and validate production methods, fixtures, and test systems, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost targets are met.

Collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain, you will drive process improvements, support transfers to production, and champion data-driven improvements in a high-mix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of manufacturing engineering experience in highly engineered products.
• Experience with automated test equipment, test fixtures, and data acquisition systems.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software.
• Ability to produce engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and DFMEA/Process FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, assembly procedures, and test methods.
• Support day-to-day production operations by resolving manufacturing issues impacting quality, throughput, safety, or delivery.
• Lead process improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, cost reduction, and efficiency.
• Evaluate and implement best manufacturing practices, fixtures, tooling, and automation opportunities.
• Lead the transfer of new products from Engineering into production and ensure manufacturability.
