Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr System Development Engineer, Mfg Bring Up and Test for AWS Mainstream Compute in Cupertino, CA. You will own end-to-end manufacturing test strategy for new product introductions, partnering with hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure production-readiness.

You will drive testability, develop test infrastructure across board, server, and rack subsystems, and lead yield improvements through data-driven analysis and controlled deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years designing or architecting large-scale systems.
• 5+ years in manufacturing test engineering or production test.
• Experience with server- or rack-level hardware testing in data centers.
• Experience deploying in Linux/Unix environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive testability requirements and lead DFT reviews from early design stages.
• Architect and deploy manufacturing test infra and automated flows.
• Lead test automation and telemetry to reduce manual work.
• Lead yield improvement during NPI with root cause analysis.
• Serve as liaison between internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
