Job summary

Amazon seeks a Principal Manufacturing Test Engineer to define and drive the test strategy across a product line from prototype builds to high-volume manufacturing. You will own test architecture, set standards, and build capabilities to execute complex test operations at scale, partnering across engineering, validation, quality, and manufacturing.

The role requires 10+ years of experience in electromechanical test, hands-on development of inline and end-of-line tests, and leadership to scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic or mechatronics engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in manufacturing test for electromechanical products and NPI to high-volume production.
• Experience owning test strategy from concept to volume production.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end manufacturing test strategy across prototype to volume production.
• Influence product architecture for testability and DFT considerations.
• Create test frameworks, standards, and readiness processes for manufacturing.
• Align V&V with production test capability and optimize cycle time and cost.
• Architect test data pipelines and dashboards for real-time visibility.
• Develop scalable test systems and mentor the test engineering team.
