Job summary

Benchmark Electronics is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Concord, CA. The role provides and supports manufacturing equipment, materials and processes to keep production efficient and on-time while meeting quality expectations.

You will work with engineers, operators and leaders to optimize programs and procedures. The position requires 8+ years of experience, a 2-year engineering/technical degree, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• 2-year engineering/technical degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and cross-functional teamwork.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains machine programs and profiles for new and existing product.
• Aids in maintaining product routings, drawing packets, and interpreting instructions/specifications for manufacturing operators.
• Troubleshoots operator problems and works with leadership on improvements.
• Communicates problems to Engineers and/or leader.
• Assists in testing and qualification for new equipment, materials, and processes.
• Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.
