Job summary

Benchmark is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support production with equipment, materials and processes to meet quality and on-time delivery goals. You will create machine programs, maintain routings and assist in testing new equipment, while collaborating with engineers and operators.

The role emphasizes lean methodologies, continuous improvement and strong communication within a safety-sensitive environment at our Minnesota facility.

Qualifications

• 2 year Engineering or Technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective multitasking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains machine programs for new and existing products.
• Maintains routings, drawing packets, and interprets instructions for operators.
• Troubleshoots operator problems and supports process improvements.
• Reports problems to Engineers and leadership.
• Assists in testing and qualification of new equipment, materials and processes.
• Conducts experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.
• Supports Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen activities.
• Follows security policies and performs other duties as assigned.
