Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation’s McNeilus division seeks a Senior Technician to lead testing, fabrication, assembly and instrumentation of vehicles and subsystems. You will configure, repair, and validate prototypes and sustaining products following engineering procedures and safety standards.

You will mentor technicians, support customers, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with engineers and cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with five (5) years of engineering experience or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or a Telehandler/AWP operator license.
• Travel up to 10%.
• Able to pass weld certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing, fabrication, assembly and test instrumentation of vehicles and subsystems.
• Provide technical support to customers of McNeilus and Test and Development.
• Mentor and guide technicians to follow best practices.
